DESCRIPTION:Help remove trash from the Lake George shoreline to protect water quality and aquatic plants and animals. Volunteers can choose to clean up along the Village shoreline or on their own properties\, while the Warren County Sheriff’s Dive Team will lead the underwater clean-up efforts. The event is free and open to all ages. Trash removal and safety supplies will be provided. Advance registration encouraged. \nLake George CleanUp day is sponsored in part by Waste Connections\, which is once again donating all trash removal services for the event. Lake George Beach Club is also a returning sponsor of the event\, providing Lake George CleanUp” shirts to the first 100 registered volunteers as well as a volunteer cookout immediately following the event.

DESCRIPTION:The Bolton Landing No-Octane Regatta is an old time mess about featuring boats and events that were common on Lake George 100 or more years ago. Traditional sailing canoes\, rowboats\, and canoes like we see in the old black and white photos of Lake George are featured. The boats and the events will be viewable from Rogers Park. The boats will launch from the beach\, and we’ll have a few short courses set up for the races. This is a perfect time to dust off the old boats in the rafters of the boathouses around the lake\, or just come down to see these boats in action. Who knows\, there may even be boats for spectators to hop in and try out.
