DESCRIPTION:Up Yonda Farm Environmental Education Center’s free “Trunk or Treat” Halloween celebration is returning this year with a variety of fun activities and at least 20 Trick-or-Treat stations for kids!\nThe annual Up Yonda “Trunk or Treat” event in Bolton has been scheduled on Saturday\, October 28th\, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be plenty of goodies for costumed little ones\, as well as pumpkin decorating\, wildlife exhibitions and free books.\nDress up in your Halloween best and Trick-or-Treat among decorated vehicles\, decorate your own pumpkin\, and check out wildlife exhibitions that will include a live raptor display. This event is open to all ages.\nBolton Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary\, Bolton Fire Company Bolton Community Church\, Bolton Emergency Medical Services\, Bolton Police Department and Bolton Central School PTO will be among the organizations that have committed to decorating vehicle trunks for treats. In addition\, the Bolton Free Library Board of Trustees will be handing out books\, Friends of Up Yonda Farm will offer pumpkin decorating and Silent Wings will bring their raptors for viewing.

Join in with soldiers who work as carpenters to build new bunks. See horsepower\, ox-power\, and manpower in action as they move\, test\, and load cannon. Discover how testing the cannon was vital for weapons destined for the siege of Boston. Learn about the science of gunnery\, preserved in Fort Ticonderoga’s massive cannon collection and archives. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy Holiday Refreshments and Christmas Fun at our Open House! Throughout the day you can make a Book Ornament and decorate the Library Christmas Tree (you can also make another to take home!). At 2:00pm we’ll start spinning our Vintage Music collection for a Holiday Sing-a-Long. Then\, at 4:30pm we’ll pull the winning ticket for the “Holiday Cheer Basket” which was beautifully made and donated by Friend of the Library\, Marina Skea! Raffle Tickets are $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00. Fun starts at 10:30am and continues through to 5:00pm.
